RE:       Planning & Development All Steering Group Dinner Meeting

Wednesday, February 18.

 

Please join us for the Planning and Development All Steering Group Dinner Meeting on Wednesday, February 18, 2004 at Andersens’ Split Pea Soup restaurant in Buellton from 5 to 8:30 p.m.  The buffet dinner and meeting is being hosted by Board of Supervisors Chair Joe Centeno and immediate past Chair Naomi Schwartz.

 

The goals for the meeting are threefold:  to thank community members and staff for their on-going work and commitment to our joint process improvement effort; to address significant issues that cross over all Steering groups as part of the process improvement effort; and to explore how are we doing; how we can do better; and, how we can move forward most effectively.

 

The buffet dinner will be available from 5:00.  Please arrive at 5:00 or as close thereafter as you can to talk with others, enjoy a relaxing dinner, and gear up for an enjoyable event. The formal meeting will start at 5:30 sharp.  We have a very full evening planned.

 

Attached you will find our proposed agenda for the evening, which includes a few demonstrations on improvements already implemented or currently underway, breakout discussions on key topics of interest to all of the Steering Groups, and a chance to plot out our future actions.  Information materials on the status of each steering group and their sub-committees will be emailed to you for your review prior to our meeting. (Limited copies will be available at the meeting.)  

 

Please RSVP by Monday, February 16th by replying to this email. Let me know:  1). if you will be able to attend and 2). if you would like us to plan on a buffet meal for you. 

 

It has been six months since our first All Steering Group process improvement meeting. Wednesday’s meeting will be a wonderful opportunity to acknowledge accomplishments and focus our future efforts. Thank you, in advance, for your participation and input.
